Partnership opportunities
Leverage on a relationship you already own.
Three doors: senior operators who bring their own book, professionals who trust us with their clients, and firms that run the instruments under license. The firm stays small on purpose, so the people inside it are known by name.
Senior operators & rainmakers
Bring your book. Keep your name.
Some people walk into any room and leave with the work. If that is you, you have already found the ceiling: economics capped by someone else’s structure, a reputation compounding into someone else’s brand.
Affiliation means economics on the work you originate and a firm behind the promise you make in the room: instruments, delivery capacity, partners who close beside you. The relationships you bring stay yours, in the agreement and on exit. Your restrictive covenants get read before your first pitch, not after your old firm’s letter arrives — some books cannot move intact, and it is better to design around that in week one than to litigate it in year one. The track ends where it should: at the partnership itself.
What this looks like
- You originate the engagement; the firm staffs and delivers beside you, and the economics follow the origination — settled on paper before the work begins.
- Your clients meet a bench you could not carry alone: strategy, M&A, franchise development, the software instruments.
- Affiliation to partnership is a written test, not a conversation: originations that renewed without you, a practice line another person can run, a partner vote. The criteria are in the affiliation agreement — you can read them before you sign, and they do not change after you do.
If the book is real, the first conversation is short. Have it with a partner. Request a briefing →
Referral & professional partners
Send the client. Stay in the room.
Your client trusts you first — that trust is the asset, and a referral should compound it, not spend it. Every referred client is handled by a named partner, and you see the work at every stage: what was found, what was recommended, what happened next.
Immigration attorneys, especially. The Investment Migration practice runs on a strict division of labor: you advise and sign; Lotus sources the business, structures the acquisition, and prepares the commercial file your case stands on. Your client hears one coherent plan — and the legal strategy never leaves your desk.
What this looks like
- A named partner owns the relationship; written progress reaches you at every stage, and the client remains yours.
- For immigration counsel: business sourcing, acquisition structuring, and franchise placement, prepared to your specification and yours to review before anything is filed.
- Reciprocity where it is honest: when our clients need counsel, tax work, or wealth management, the referral goes to a short list. No referral fee moves in either direction — your client pays you for your engagement, ours pays us for ours. Tell your client the arrangement exists: it is non-exclusive and fee-free, which is exactly what makes it easy to say out loud.

Platform & licensing partners
Run the instruments under your flag.
The instruments are working software, built because the firm needed them — franchise analysis, deal management, spend intelligence. Most firms want the output. A few want the machinery, and the machinery travels.
Licensing runs in both directions: a Lotus vertical operated by your firm in your market, or a Lotus instrument running inside your practice under your own brand. The instruments were built for the firm’s own engagements before they were offered to anyone else.
What this looks like
- A licensed vertical: your team and your market, with the Lotus playbook, instruments, and standards written into the license — the shape the founder used when he built Legacy Business Brokers into a national brokerage group.
- Instruments deployed inside your firm — franchise diligence, deal-flow management, spend intelligence — carrying your brand, not ours.
- Scope, territory, and standards fixed at signing — and a defined answer, before anything ships, to what happens if either side walks away.
